When and where will the Crawl start?
The Crawl will take place on October 31st, Halloween Night. To start off, we’re all having dinner at Brasil from 6:30 to 8. Not only does Brasil have the best pizza in Montrose, but it’s also a sponsor of our costume contest, so there’s no better place to start your crawling.
What are the stops on the Crawl?
- Brasil from 6:30 to 8, with a best costume award at 7:15
- Poison Girl from 7:30 to 9, with a best costume award at 8:15
- Boondocks from 8:30 to 10, with a best costume award at 9:15
- Etro Lounge from 9:30 to 11, with a best costume award at 10:15

Other than hosting Crawlers, what are the stops on the Crawl doing to celebrate Halloween?
Everyone is getting into the spirit. Check out each stop’s link above for details. We’ll post updates as they become available, including drink specials.
What’s Montrose Crawl’s relation to the stops on the Crawl?
Nada. These are just places we enjoy, and we hope you enjoy them too.
Does it cost anything to join the Crawl?
Nope, just buy your own drinks, smokes, company, etc.
Do I have to wear a costume?
Yes, it’s Halloween. Don’t be a schmuck.
How does the costume contest work?
Everyone gets to play, but only the freakiest will win. Finalists will be selected by Crawl officials at each stop, with the selections being made at approximately 7:15, 8:15, 9:15, 10:15, 11:15, and 12:15. A grand prize winner will be picked from the finalists by the Grand Crawler at 12:30. Any finalist who isn't at Slick Willie's at 12:30 will be disqualified.
What are the prizes?
Each finalist will receive a gift certificate from Brasil. The grand prize winner will receive a certificate from Saint Arnold Brewing Company, which will entitle the holder and 99 of his or her closest friends to an exclusive 2 hour party at the Saint Arnold’s brewery.
How much walking will be involved?
Roughly 2/3 of a mile in total, spread out over about four hours - a challenge for able-bodied Houstonians.
Is there parking?
None that Montrose Crawl will provide. But if you do plan on driving to the Crawl, you might want to consider the Crawl’s route and decide whether you’d rather park near the first stop, near the last, or somewhere in between. Better yet, designate a driver and send them to get the car.
How is the Crawl related to the Houston Area Women’s Center?
HAWC is the Crawl’s official charity this year. All of the bars participating in the Crawl will donate a percentage of their gross sales during the Crawl to HAWC, which means that Crawlers will contribute to HAWC with every drink they buy. Please visit HAWC to learn more about the services it provides to women in need, and to discover additional ways you can contribute to its mission.
Can I bring my kid to the Crawl?
No, your kid isn't safe in Montrose.
