CM CostelloBANG!  POW!  CRACK!  BOOM!

This is not an episode of Batman.  This is what it sounds like when you drive down W. Alabama and any number of streets in Montrose, not to mention the entire city.  Those are the sounds your vehicle makes when it hits the innumerable potholes, patches, protrusions, and plain old cracks that plague the roads in Houston.  And that’s on the good days, when you can actually drive on the streets as opposed to floating over them.  This problem is particularly egregious in Montrose, where our historic neighborhoods have outlived their antiquated infrastructure.  But there’s a man, and he’s got a plan.

Long-time Montrose resident and At-Large Council Member Steve Costello is a civil engineer by trade, and he’s been engineering a comeback for Houston’s streets since his first day at City Hall.  CM Costello is the architect and greatest defender of the ReBuild Houston initiative, and he is making the City’s infrastructure a signature issue of his mayoral campaign.  He’s our street fighting man, and his plan is to get us all moving again.  For his ongoing efforts to build a better Houston, we have selected Steve Costello as our 2015 Grand Crawler!
